With the opening of the TIO PETE recording Studio in Urduliz (Biscay Province,
Basque Country), a new concept of professional recording was born in Euskadi.
The
innovative and convenient technical and acoustic facilities you will see
on our website are proof of the vanguard technology available at our studio.
The
main recording room (80 square metres, 5 metres high) has variable acoustics,
thanks to a mobile panel system that makes it easier to adapt to any musical
style (from heavy rock to string quartets, for example).
Connected
to the main recording area are three independent sound proofed rooms (stone
room, dead room and vocal room) that facilitate recording in different
acoustic spaces.

The control room (50 square metres) has been designed
to monitor the recording process from beginning to end with entirely neutral
acoustics.
The
studio was conceived and designed from the ground up to the highest standard
by studio design guru, Philip Newell, with full consideration to space,
acoustics, separation and lighting to create the perfect working environment. Each
recording area features electronically controlled room ambience adjustment
(with independent air-conditioning and airchange system) and has a very
comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
