PETE IS A STUDIO MADE BY MUSICIANS FOR MUSICIANS." Philip R. Newell, Designer of Tio Pete CARLOS ZUBIAGA URIBARRI, founder-owner of the TIO PETE studios, has a long background in the world of music. He began playing keyboards and guitar in the mythical Bilbao group LOS MITOS (1967-1973). He was a member of MOCEDADES from 1973 until 1.990, leaving the group to devote himself exclusively to his recording studio then located in Deusto (Bilbao). Currently, since 1.994, he is a member of EL CONSORCIO and continues to play long tours in México and Spain. His vocal arrangements for MOCEDADES and EL CONSORCIO have been outstanding, as well as his work as technician, arranger, and producer of records, radio jingles and T.V. tracks recorded at his studio CRISTINA ZUBIAGA BUSTINZA, is in charge of administration, management and maintenance since 1998. She will show you the studio, draw up a budget in accordance with your financial means and get the studio and the apartment ready, so that you can have an enjoyable stay during your recording sessions at TIO PETE. KARLOS ZUBIAGA BUSTINZA has had wide experience in recording different styles of music since 1992, both in studio and outdoors. His combined background of classical and modern musical studies, enables him to adapt to the differing requirements of the recording sessions. Sound technician at TIO PETE, he combines his work at the studio with the Mobile Recording Unit. He has a long list of fine recordings of choirs and orchestras in theatres, churches and auditoriums. He is also in charge of Editing and Mastering. |
